Mental Health First Aid training available

The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program will hold a virtual Mental Health and First Aid training for University employees from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28. Participants must attend the entire training to receive certification.

Attendees can expect to learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.

Participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask your department about sponsoring your attendance.

To register, contact the FSAP at 304-293-5590 or [email protected].
