Mercedes-Benz has brought most of its lineup to the 2025 Montreal Auto Show, including two brand new models that join its lineup for the current model year, the AMG G63 and the plug-in hybrid GLC 350e.
While this is not the first time these models have been seen by the public, they are still expected to draw a lot of attention, and so is the eSprinter electric van. Other eye-catching vehicles present on the Mercedes-Benz stand are the SL 63 Roadster and the AMG GT 63 Coupe.
Here is a closer look at the highlights:
Mercedes-AMG G63

The Iconic German off-roader gets a significant refresh in 2025, with a modernized design, new technologies, and two mild-hybrid powertrains. Present at the Montreal Auto Show is the top-of-the-line Mercedes-AMG G63 variant. This high-performance SUV is powered by an electrified twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine that delivers up to 597 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission and three lockable differentials. Adaptive dampers and a luxurious cabin laden with the brand’s latest tech features ensure occupants are comfortable no matter what kind of terrain the AMG G63 is going over at the time.
Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e

The other new model featured on the Mercedes stand is the GLC 350e, a plug-in hybrid version of the brand’s most popular model in Canada. This compact crossover pairs a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a 24.8 kWh battery and an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 313 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the GLC 350e can claim the longest all-electric range in its class, with up to 87 kilometres of emissions-free driving on a full charge. Like all other GLC models, the new PHEV benefits from the third generation of the MBUX infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a new Routines function that can adapt to the driver’s daily schedule.
Mercedes-Benz eSprinter

While it has already been on the market for a while, the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter is still attracting attention due to its new electric powertrain. Unlike its gasoline-powered counterpart, the 2025 eSprinter is only available in one size, with a 170-inch wheelbase and a raised roof. This results in a cargo volume of up to 13.8 cubic meters and a max payload of 1,190 kg (2,623 lb). Another difference with the regular Sprinter is of course the powertrain. The eSprinter is powered by a 113-kWh battery and an electric motor which is available in either 100 kW (134 hp) or 150 kW (201 hp) variants, with up to 295 lb-ft of torque. Official Canadian or American range estimates are not available since the eSprinter is considered a commercial vehicle, but Mercedes claims up to 440 kilometres based on the WLTP cycle.
Other models on display

Also present at the Mercedes stand are other models that should generate some interest, such as the AMG SL63. This very luxurious high-performance roadster is powered by a handmade 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates 577 horsepower and it comes with a price tag of over $220,000.
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupe shares the same powertrain as the SL 63, but it features a fixed roof and a wider track, making it even faster and more dynamic. The luxurious interior also makes the GT 63 Coupe well suited to grand touring.
