METAMORA TWP. — The Metamora Township Community Food Drive is underway until Wednesday, Dec. 20.

The public is invited to donate non-perishable food items that will go to support Stone Soup Food Bank in Lapeer. They are specifically looking for after-school snacks for area children as they start the new year.

Donations may be dropped off at the township hall, 720 W. Dryden Rd., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday. An afterhours drop-off box will also be available.
