Moorpark High School’s award-winning Performing Arts program is gearing up for an exciting semester with three major productions showcasing the talents of MHS students.
“The Drowsy Chaperone” debuted at the Moorpark High School Performing Arts Center on Nov. 14 —with additional performances at 1 and 6:30 p.m. on Sat., Nov. 16.
This PG-13 musical comedy is set in the 1920s and follows a cast of eccentric characters.
The second production—a dinner at-the-theater experience called “How to Survive a Shakespeare Play”—is a collaboration between performing arts and culinary arts students.
The play will be held on Mon., Dec. 2 in the high school auxiliary gym, with dinner served at 5:30 p.m. and the show starting at 6:30 p.m.
Rounding out the semester, Moorpark High School’s Choir will present its annual Winter Concert at 6 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 5 at the Performing Arts Center.
