BURTON, Mich. (WJRT) – A new retailer is filling space at an existing shopping center in Burton.

Michaels announced plans to open a 13,000-square-foot store in the plaza at 4200 Court Street near the Home Depot and Big Lots stores across from the Courtland Center Mall.

The new Michaels location will stock a wide selection of craft and home decor items.

The store is scheduled to open in May 2024. There will be a soft opening in May followed by a full grand opening celebration later on, including product demonstrations, free crafts and giveaways.
