Michigan Center takes down Brooklyn Columbia Central in boys basketball


LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Our coverage of high school basketball takes us to the 11-3 Michigan Center Cardinals taking on Brooklyn Columbia Central in boys basketball.

The Cardinals got off to a strong start in the second half as Travis Collins kicked it to Spencer Berkeypile, who found Tre Collins for three and extended the Michigan Center lead to eight. The freshman Collins continued to shine as he fell back and hit the shot, finishing with nine points in the third quarter. Then the Cardinals finished it out with a Hunter Clemons three to put the game away.

Michigan Center prevails again, winning 64-52, as the Cardinals move to 12-3 on the season.
