EAU CLAIRE — Applications to the Midwest Artist Academy are open until Feb. 1, as they look to invite 14 to 18-year-old students to become part of a unique pre-college summer experience that explores the arts.

Arthur Grothe, director of the MAA, said participants will take part in a one week experience as they explore five disciplines: creative writing, theater, dance, visual art and music.
