Minnie Driver Discusses Good Will Hunting on the Film’s 25th Anniversary

Minnie Driver recently addressed Good Will Hunting, which was released 25 years ago.

“That is truly a classic,” the 53-year-old said in a new interview with Yahoo Entertainment.

Minnie explained how she and her co-stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were unaware at the time, saying, “We were just kids having a great time making this really a fantastic story.”

“They were exhausted, laughing, hilarious, and cracking jokes on set,” the actress remarked.

“We were just having a great time and being in love and loving each other, and I don’t know, it was great,” Minnie, who is currently promoting her new podcast, The Lesser Dead, said.

“It frequently appears on lists of the top 100 movies, the best movies ever made.” “It was fantastic,” she said.

For those who don’t know, the actress got her first Oscar nomination for her role in Good Will Hunting. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

Minnie said of her acting career, “It’s a pinch me moment that I’m still here working.”

“I don’t have any addictions.” I’ve managed to keep my sanity. “I’m actually still here and identifiable,” she added.
