Patients may be transferred to hospitals in Italy and Belgium following two explosions at a liquified petroleum gas station close to Bucharest, according to the Prime Minister, Marcel Ciolacu.

There are at least 46 injured and one person has died following the explosion.

Mr Ciolacu said: “We are trying to save as many lives as possible.”
