Sinner is still processing beating the World No. 1

Jannik Sinner not only won the AO 2024, but along the way, he also defeated the world number 1 in doing so at the semifinals of the tournament. Jannik Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic in a match of 4 sets and Daniil Medvedev in the finals by winning the last 3 sets.

Owing to his experience in doing so, he shared “I still have to process it, because … beating Novak in the semis and then today Daniil in the final, they are tough players to beat. It’s a great moment for me and my team.” Lastly, he also added that now his team is working on making sure that they continue to work on getting better so they get a chance to hold the trophy again.
