On the night of Sept. 29, 2021, police were called to Mesa Marin Sports Complex off Highway 178 near Bedford Green Drive to a report of a shooting. Bravo was found with a gunshot wound to the head and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the probable cause declaration.

Two witnesses were shown photo lineups and identified Alonso as a suspect “with varying certainty,” according to the declaration.

It goes on to say, “Officers located social media evidence and cellphone GPS evidence which corroborated (Garcia, Faria and Alonso’s) involvement in the murder.” The next hearing on the case is scheduled April 18.
