HOLTS SUMMIT – PFSbrands is expanding into the grocery business by acquiring central Missouri chain Moser’s Foods.
Moser’s is a locally-owned, family grocery store chain that operates eight locations in Audrain, Boone, and Callaway counties, as well as in Warrenton. The acquisition is occurring through its parent company, the Show Me Oil Company, which also operates a convenience store.
“Today marks a momentous occasion for PFSbrands as we begin making plans to welcome the entire Moser’s team into our thriving environment,” PFSbrands CEO Shawn Burcham said.
PFSbrands, headquartered in Holts Summit, encompasses over 2,000 branded food service locations in 39 states, including Champs Chicken, Hangar54 Pizza, and BluTaco.
Moser’s Foods will retain its current branding. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in March 2025.
