Relive the musical memories of The Statler Brothers on Thursday, Dec. 7 at CoMMA Performing Arts Center. American Pride captures the true authenticity of The Statler Brothers sound, keeping the legacy alive and promoting traditional country music.
Just as The Statler Brothers had two members who are actually brothers, Harold and Don Reid, so does American Pride, with Mike and Jimmy Whetsel. Both the Reid brothers and the Whetsel brothers have a life-long love for Southern Gospel quartet music, and still find that audiences at all venues cannot help but clap their hands and pat their feet to “I’ll Fly Away” or “Heaven’s Jubilee.”
“In addition to a night of spectacular country music, patrons will be treated to a preshow reception of Christmas treats! Admission will begin at 6 p.m. for season ticket holders and 6:30 p.m. for single ticket holders in the CoMMA lobby,” Events Manager Amber Austin said.
