Musk Reveals His ‘Cunning’ Custody Plot Against Ex Grimes

Elon Musk is devising a devious plot to exploit a gap in Texas law in order to favor him over Grimes in his ongoing custody dispute.

As the on-again, off-again couple fight over custody of their three children, a lawyer told Page Six that Musk filed his custody complaint expressly in Texas and is adamant about demonstrating his children’s residency in the Lone Star State.

“Texas law places a cap on the amount of child support the higher earner has to pay regardless of their wealth,” attorney Stephanie I. Blum told the publication.

“No doubt Musk filed in Texas in order to get a better deal on child support than he would get in California,” Blum said about Musk’s reasons.

Musk, 52, originally sued Grimes, 35, for custody of their children on September 13th, about a month before Grimes counter-sued him.

The Tesla CEO claimed in the lawsuit that he had “actual care, control, and possession of each child since the birth of each child” while living in Texas full-time.

Unbeknownst to observers, Grimes’ following iconic social media request for access to her children was most likely a reaction to Musk’s lawsuit.

Following that, the Canadian musician filed her own lawsuit against Musk, which included a conventional restraining order prohibiting either parent from transporting the children out of Grimes’ home state of California.

She also moved to dismiss Musk’s petition, claiming that the court’s “assumption of jurisdiction” is “inappropriate” and would violate “fair play and substantial justice.”
