COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada senior Kenan Blackshear has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Wyoming’s Cam Manyawu was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

KENAN BLACKSHEAR, NEVADA

- Led Nevada to a pair of wins to open the season with victories over Sacramento State (77-63) and at Washington (83-76).
- Averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and four assists per game, while shooting 52.9 percent (18-for-34) from the floor.
- In the season opener against Sacramento State, recorded 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals.
- At Washington, scored a career-high 31 points, while knocking down a career-best 12 field goals. Also tallied six boards and five assists.

CAM MANYAWU, WYOMING

- Helped Wyoming to a 2-0 mark to start the 2023-24 season with wins over Northern New Mexico (104-56) and Cal Poly (80-66).
- Averaged a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds per game, while shooting 80 percent (12-for-15) from the field.
- Recorded 13 points and 10 boards in the season opener against Northern New Mexico.
- Registered a career-best 19 points behind a 7-for-7 shooting performance. Also tallied 10 rebounds.
- First Cowboy in the MW era to record back-to-back double-doubles in debut.
