MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – National Travel and Tourism Week is a time to highlight tourism’s many essential roles to the economy. Visit Mobile is taking part in the week by highlighting tourism in Mobile and celebrating its partners.

“This last year we had $1.8 billion with a ‘b’ in tourism spent,” David Clark, President and CEO of Visit Mobile said. “That’s up $400 million since pre-COVID levels in 2019. We had 3.4 million visitors to come into Mobile and to do all the fun things that we have.”
