Nearly $700k to help treat substance abuse disorders and mental health needs in McLean County


McLEAN COUNTY (25News Now) – Rep. Eric Sorensen (IL-17) is announcing $683,301 to help treat substance abuse disorders and support mental health needs.

Nearly $500,000 is going to Chestnut Health Systems from the Department of Health and Human Services to support drug abuse and addiction research programs.

Nearly $200,000 is going to the McLean County Center for Human Services also from HHS to support their mental health awareness training project.
