LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Recording artists Nelly and TLC will help welcome fans to the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament semifinals and championship in Las Vegas this week.

The NBA announced the two Grammy-winners will perform live at Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena in between the two semifinal games on Thursday, Dec. 7.

They will face off in a head-to-head singing battle, part of a new reality competition “The Sum: All-Star Music Battle.”

Fans can apply for the chance to sing alongside TLC or Nelly live at Toshiba Plaza as well. Apply here to enter.

In addition to the music, ticketed fans can experience a larger-than-life NBA Cup trophy photo opportunity.

There will also be exclusive merchandise and tournament-style basketball games between noon and 8 p.m. during both semifinals on Thursday and the championship on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The NBA In-Season Tournament quarterfinals get underway Monday to determine who will face off in the semifinals.
