The main actors from the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, like Michael Cera and Chris Evans, will all be in the Netflix anime series Scott Pilgrim.
The anime was first said to be in the works for January 2022. Now, it has been ordered as a series, and the voices of the actors will be used.
The return of the entire cast includes Chris Evans (Lucas Lee), Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona Flowers), Satya Bhabha (Matthew Patel), Kieran Culkin (Wallace Wells), Anna Kendrick (Stacey Pilgrim), Mark Webber (Stephen Stills), Mae Whitman (Roxie), Aubrey Plaza (Julie Powers), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram), Jason Schwartzman (Gideon Graves), Brie Larson (Envy Adams), Alison Pill (Kim Pine), Johnny Simmons (Young Neil), and Ellen Wong (Knives Chau).
The creator of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series, Bryan Lee O’Malley, will co-write and executive produce the anime adaptation alongside BenDavid Grabinski. According to Variety, both will also serve as showrunners for the anime.
