Netflix Released a Trailer for Their Upcoming Live-Action ‘One Piece’ Series

Netflix has bought the rights to Eiichiro Oda’s popular comic series One Piece, which he wrote and drew.

The live-action version, which was shown at the TUDUM event, is getting ready to come out on the streaming service.

The story is about Monkey D. Luffy (played by Iaki Godoy) and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they go on exciting journeys in the Grand Line. Their final goal is to find the legendary treasure called “One Piece” and make Luffy’s dream of becoming the next King of the Pirates come true.

Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar are also in the group. They play members of Luffy’s crew who are loyal to him. Steven Maeda and Matt Owens are in charge of making the show happen.

The first episode of One Piece will air on Netflix on August 31.
