New ‘Asteroid City’ Trailer Featuring Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson Has Been Released


The comic trailer for Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, which stars Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, and Scarlett Johansson, has been released.

City of asteroids “takes place in a made-up American desert town in the 1950s. At a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention, which is supposed to be a place for students and parents to compete in academics, chaos breaks out, and things happen that change the world.”

Variety says that Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Hong Chau, and Scarlett Johansson make up the main cast of the comedy movie.

Bryan Cranston, Jeffrey Wright, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Tilda Swinton, Ed Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Willem Dafoe, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, Matt Dillon, Jason Schwartzman, Grace Edwards, Ethan Lee, Jeff Goldblum, Aristou Meehan, Sophia Lillis, and Rita Wilson are also in the cast.

The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Isle of Dogs, The French Dispatch, and The Royal Tennenbaums are all movies that Wes Anderson has directed.

On June 16, the movie will only be shown in a few theaters. On June 23, it will be shown in more theaters.
