The Future of Automotive Testing Conference is to launch at Automotive Testing Expo North America 2024. Running in Novi, Michigan, on October 22, 23 & 24, the event will navigate the evolving landscape of automotive technology and pave the way for safer, more efficient and sustainable vehicles of tomorrow.

Taking place alongside the exhibition at the Suburban Collection Showplace, the new conference comprises pre-conference technical workshops on October 22 and a two-day conference with panel discussions and keynotes on October 23 and 24. It will serve as a platform for industry professionals, engineers, innovators and researchers to explore the latest advances, emerging trends and future challenges shaping the automotive testing landscape. The event will gather OEMs, supplier and component manufacturers, testing laboratories, research institutes, regulatory and government agencies, technology providers, solution vendors, cybersecurity experts and data analysts. Presentations will encompass innovations in automotive testing, safety and compliance, autonomous and connected vehicle testing, electric vehicle testing, data-driven testing and analytics, agile testing and rapid prototyping, environmental testing and durability, industry collaboration and best practices.

The first speakers to be announced include Ford, General Motors, Maruti Suzuki India, ZF, 5GAA and the American Center for Mobility.

OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers are invited to attend for free. Suppliers and vendors can purchase a supplier pass and can benefit from an early-bird rate.

Held annually in Novi, Michigan, the expo consists of a three-day exhibition and conference. At the exhibition, visitors can find solutions and services to shorten product development lifecycles and accelerate the development of next-generation technologies while eliminating recalls and increasing product quality. More than 250 leading international suppliers at the forefront of test, development and validation, from prototype through to production, will showcase the full EV testing ecosystem, next-gen powertrain test and evaluation systems, technologies for ADAS development and validation, end-of-line testing, data analysis, software development, hot- and cold-climate testing, aerodynamics and wind tunnel testing, and much more. An Innovation Showcase will host special short sessions on the expo floor, highlighting innovative concepts, prototypes, and future trends in automotive testing.
