ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Rezoning has been approved and the land has been purchased for “540 Social”, an entertainment center soon coming to the Roanoke Valley.
It will be built in the Bonsack area off of Challenger Avenue in Roanoke County. The center will feature an arcade, people can play skee-ball, air hockey, mini golf, bowling, play pickle ball outside and more.
A restaurant will be inside, along with a gathering venue for group events holding up to 300 people.
“As far as having a place to go eat somewhere, you can drop in after church and grab a bite, or you know, it’d be great for your first date. It’d be great for your corporate meetings. We’re just excited about being able to gather a lot of friends together,” said Co-owner, Mitchell Tyler.
They’re currently working through engineering and designs for the building while also installing a turning lane near Challenger Avenue to decrease traffic in the area.
The goal is for the center to break ground some time in 2025.
