THE BAND FACING BACKLASH, TEMPORARY STRUCK DOWN BY A FEDERAL JUDGE. BUT LATER THAT SAME JUDGE REJECTING A REQUEST FROM GUN RIGHTS ADVOCATES TO BLOCK GOVERNOR MICHELLE LUJAN, GRISHAM’S BAN FOR GOOD. WE FEEL VERY STRONGLY THAT THE GOVERNOR IS REVISED. THE ORDER WAS ISSUED ACTUALLY IN BRAZEN OPPOSITION TO THE COURT’S TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER. ONE ADVOCACY GROUP IN SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNOR. WE’RE GOING TO PUT OUR KIDS RIGHTS TO LIVE OVER AND ABOVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT. LUJAN GRISHAM AMENDING HER GUN BAN TO APPLY ONLY TO PUBLIC PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS. NO OPEN OR CONCEALED CARRY IN PUBLIC PARKS OR PLAYGROUNDS WHERE WE KNOW WE’VE GOT HIGH RISK OF KIDS AND FAMILIES. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham extended executive orders declaring gun violence a public health emergency on Friday, Nov. 3. The public health emergency order also aims toward substance misuse.
