The new Orange County Food Truck Yard opened on Tuesday and according to owner Marcy Taylor a lot is going on and more to come.

This week, the new food truck location offers the food trucks Bull Fish on site and All the Smoke BBQ and this Saturday is Ruby’s Street food truck which will open at 5:30 a.m. and serve Latin dishes and breakfast.

“I want to make sure the crowd can support the food trucks so we are starting with a soft opening,” she added. “However, on Tuesday we had 30-35 tables and on Wednesday we doubled that number.”

The community can expect more food trucks, live music and special events in the months to come with the goal to have a variety of different food with an array of food choices. “We have the capacity to include more food trucks and we will in time,” said Taylor.

“I’m also currently working on a beer and wine license and a dog park —I want to create an atmosphere similar to the food truck parks in South Austin,” she explained. “I want to create a place for the furry babies to come enjoy treats and a water bowl along with fire pits and a family-friendly fun environment.”

The Orange County Food Truck Yard is located on 4158 Hwy 87 S and open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with hours extending on Saturday when Ruby’s Street food truck begins serving breakfast. For additional information and to follow events online visit The Orange County Food Truck Yard on Facebook.
