Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester will see its entertainment offerings further enhanced following its December sale to Florida-based Concert Golf Partners, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal

Former owners, brothers Steve and John DiMarco, never focused just on the par-71 golf course as the club’s primary attraction. Instead they viewed Penn Oaks as an entertainment complex and worked hard on maximizing its dining and social side as well.

“My brother and I always thought that’s where the business, that’s where the golf course industry, should have been no matter what,” said Steve DiMarco.

This trend intensified post-pandemic as the brothers further expanded entertainment and amenities to cater to younger members, whose numbers grew significantly.

Steve now serves as a consultant for the club’s new owner, which has announced a seven-figure investment in upgrades at Penn Oaks. Concert Golf’s multi-year plan includes enhancements to the golf course, an indoor golf simulator, and elevated dining options.

Concert Golf operates three more Greater Philadelphia clubs, including White Manor Country Club in Malvern, Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley, and Jasna Polana in Princeton, New Jersey.
