Newark police are looking for a woman who they say is connected with a carjacking that happened on Halloween with a 3-year-old boy inside the car.
Officials say a warrant has been issued for Shanita Rose, 40, of Newark. Police identified Rose as a suspect in the carjacking, and they are asking for the public’s help in quickly locating her.
An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday. The child and car were missing for about two hours before being found in Jersey City. The child was unharmed.
