The Newberg Downtown Coalition will receive a financial boost in its effort to foster culture in the community.

The coalition was among the 52 organizations to receive a $5,000 Art Builds Communities grants from the Oregon Arts Commission in January to, in the nonprofit’s words, “address community issues or needs through the arts.”
