In this position, you will be the driver of the market’s dominant weekend newscasts. You will also use your reporting skills three days a week as a news MMJ.Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):• Anchor and produce weekend evening newscasts, and report 3 days a week• Select and produce stories that matter to viewers in the local area• Write scripts, build graphics, and edit video that helps you tell a complete and effective story• Work with the local meteorologist to cover the day’s top news and weather stories• Monitor and post to digital platforms as news develops• Meet tight daily deadlines• Respond urgently and appropriately to breaking and developing newsQualifications/Requirements:• A consistent track record of meeting deadlines• Familiar with producing and video editing• Effective live on-air communicator• A four-year degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience• Familiarity with ENPS, Edius, TVU, Arc Publishing, Sony ENG, Social Media a plusIf you feel you’re qualified and want to work with a great group of people go to
