In Grass Valley, California, Brian Chambers started an expansive gallery space called The Chambers Project. It’s a cultural revolution that’s taking shape with the unveiling of the Psychedelic Arts of Culture Trust (PACT). The goal is to create a bridge between art, community and education, transcending the traditional boundaries. It’s more than an exhibition, it’s a movement. PACT plans to unveil, “Godfathers: An Exploration into Psychedlic, Counter-Culture, Rock & Roll Art History” on March 9 with an immersive experience where the story goes beyond the walls of the gallery.
Within The Chambers Project’s 8,000 square foot gallery space, will be PACT. It’s a vibrant cultural hub showcasing the historical significance of psychedelic art and culture. There’ll be curated exhibits, panels and workshops. It’s also building on the foundation created by The Chambers Project, taking it to new heights.
As for the highly anticipated, “Godfathers: An Exploration Into Psychedelic, Counterculture, Rock & Roll Art History”, will showcase the golden era with collections from iconic artists and serves as PACT’s opening night. The Chambers Project headquarters have split the exhibit between the gallery and the PACT. There are four centerpieces within the exhibit: Ralph Steadman, Rick Griffin, Roger Dean and Jacaeber Kastor. The idea is to illustrating the chronological impact of psychedelics on arts and cultures throughout history.
May 4, 2024 will mark a significant milestone and will witness the opening of a benefit for the Wirikuta Tribe from Mexico. The initiative will host elders from the tribe for a week-long series of events, workshops and more.
