
Ahmedabad: Union sports minister Anurag Thakur remotely inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Nutritional Supplements Testing (CoE-NSTS) at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Gandhinagar on Friday. The testing lab will provide reports on supplements taken by the national athletes to prevent dishonest practices, said officials.
Thakur said the centre aligns with the ministry’s goal of developing supplement testing facilities in India.NFSU officials said the initiative seeks to foster a culture of excellence and fairness in sports by giving athletes dependable information on the nutritional supplements that are integral to their routines. tnn
