Nice Guys Pizza opened in 2013 in a nearby building that is now home to Tito’s Cantina.

The event featured the last-ever Trap Caviar, where several DJs played trap music at the venue portion of the bar. Trap Caviar has taken place over 100 times at Nice Guy since 2017.

Andre DeSaint is the DJ who started Trap Caviar. He enjoys introducing new music to his crowds.

“I get the chance to play music that may not be super popular, introducing new stuff, and they’re very receptive to it,” DeSaint said. “That’s the type of community I like playing music for and that’s exactly the crowd that I’ve cultivated with Trap Caviar.”

DeSaint said, regardless of a person’s taste in music, anyone can enjoy Trap Caviar.

“Everybody who comes to Trap Caviar will be welcomed with open arms,” DeSaint said. “Even if it’s something you’ve never been to, these people will make you feel at home. I don’t think it’s something to be scared or nervous about. You might hear some music you’ve never heard of that you like. To me, it’s just the place to be.”

Tieryn Farrell is the front-of-house manager for Nice Guys Pizza and has worked at the location for six years. She said that Nice Guys is a wonderful place to work.

“I have worked in a couple of different places in the service industry, and nowhere has ever felt like home,” Farrell said. “I would never want to work anywhere else for anyone else.”

Farrell thanked the customers for enriching her life throughout her time at the bar and restaurant.

“Thank you for changing my life,” Farrell said. “Thank you for making this place what it is. We wouldn’t be the same without y’all. We’re so happy.”

Greg Gebhard is one of the owners of Nice Guys Pizza. He said that Nice Guys has a welcoming environment for anyone.

“We try to have something for everybody,” Gebhard said. “We get a lot of younger and older people coming in. We try to be accepting towards everybody who comes in to have something they’ll enjoy.”

Gebhard said that he’s grateful for his customers and the support he’s received from them throughout the years.

“Thank you. I cannot stress it enough how we definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without all the customers,” Gebhard said. “We’ve been through hurricanes, pandemics and all kinds of stuff. A lot of businesses here unfortunately didn’t make it. Without the community we have here, we wouldn’t be here.”

Nice Guys Pizza plans to continue throwing different events to attract crowds.
