Nick Carter Addresses the Devastating Death of His Sister Bobbie Jean for the First Time

Nick Carter has now spoken up about the death of his younger sister Bobbie Jean in late December of last year.

The Backstreet Boys member, 43, shared his heartbreak and sadness at Bobbie Jean’s death, but he believes she is finally at peace.

Nick took to Instagram on Thursday to write a sorrowful homage to Bobbie Jean, noting that he is still processing the reality that he has now lost a third sibling, prompting people to question why he hasn’t spoken out about the tragedy.

“It may take a lifetime to fully process the loss my family has endured over the years – most recently, with the sudden passing of our sister Bobbie Jean,” Nick wrote alongside a childhood photo of himself and Bobbie, adding that he is “completely heartbroken.”

“We are reminded again that life is precious, fleeting and to cherish the time we have with the ones we love. I know she is finally at peace with God. I love you BJ,” he said.

Nick was referencing to the deaths of his sister Leslie in 2012 and brother Aaron in 2022 in his homage.

Angel, Bobbie Jean’s other sister, previously paid a heartfelt tribute to not only Bobbie Jean but all of her late siblings, reflecting the collective childhood tragedy they all faced.

“I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did,” Angel wrote on Instagram.
