Nicki Minaj recently posted a supposed audio tape of an anonymous call to Child Protective Services (CPS) about an incident involving her family on her Instagram account.

On the tape, which was made public on Thursday, a caller who did not give her name was worried about a man who seemed to be holding her child. She thought he might be drunk.

The woman who called said she heard Nicki Minaj tell the man over and over to put the child down, and that she didn’t know if he was going to leave with the kid or not.

The caller also said that the person in question was armed with a shotgun, even though the celebrity lived in a gated neighborhood.

Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, were not named in the tape.

The LA Sheriff’s Department searched Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty’s home in June after getting a report that their three-year-old son might have been abused. This upsetting event happened right after that search.

After a careful check, the officials decided that the child was safe.

Nicki Minaj has kept her son away from the public and hasn’t said what his name is yet.
