After making up with her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham, Nicola Peltz is trying hard to win over the hearts of her in-laws.

The star of Transformers is “still embarrassed” about her fight with Brooklyn Beckham’s mother, which made headlines for almost a year.

A source told Heat Magazine about Nicola and Victoria’s relationship and how they are getting along now that they have put their problems behind them for Brooklyn Beckham.

“From Nicola’s side, she’s still a little sheepish about everything that’s happened. A lot was said in interviews – by her, not by Victoria – and she’s embarrassed about that,” a source said.

“But she wants to put it behind them. In hindsight, she would have done things differently – she knows how important Brooklyn’s family is to him,” the person said.

The source then hinted that Nicola’s problems with Victoria were solved after Brooklyn told her how important it was to him that “she’s involved” in his family.

“So she’s making a big effort,” the person said. “She really wants to show the Beckhams, especially Vic, that she can be one of them.”

Nicola Peltz talked to Variety about her rumored family feud and the story that she wouldn’t wear a Victoria Beckham-designed dress on her wedding day.

“I was going to, and I really wanted to,” she said. “And then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it.”
