Nicolas Cage has disclosed that he plans to wind down his employment after turning 60 in January.
The Ghost Rider star emphasized his desire to “spend more time with my daughter” in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Nicolas also stated that as he grew older, he began “taking more stock of what’s important.”
The Mandy star described fatherhood as profound, saying, “I might not make quite as many movies” to spend more time with his one-year-old daughter, August, whom he shares his fifth wife, Riko Shibata.
Nicolas and Riko reportedly married in February 2021 and welcomed their daughter in September 2021.
In addition, the Wicker Man star became a grandfather to his eldest child’s four children.
Nicolas has previously been married to four other women, including Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, and Erika Koike.
The singer went on to have a son, Kal-El, with his third wife, Alice Kim, with whom he was married from 2004 until 2016.
Cage has been married to Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, Alice Kim, and Erika Koikeand in addition to Riko.
Meanwhile, Nicolas is promoting his latest film, Dream Scenario, which is about a biology professor who starts appearing in the dreams of his colleagues.
While praising his recent film, the actor remarked, “I feel that it’s one of my best performances.”
