Nicole Kidman, who is married to country music sensation Keith Urban, has been brutally mocked for flaunting her petite physique for a good cause.

Kidman took to Instagram on Thursday to praise Australian music and raise much-needed funding for musicians.

The acclaimed actress, who flaunted her long legs while stripping down to a T-shirt for a cause near to her heart, has been viciously abused on social media.

Nicole can be seen in one of the photos making a rock-on sign and sticking her tongue out as she models a tie dye top to promote a local rock band.

She then tagged Australian singer-songwriter Gretta Ray, her husband Keith Urban, and rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard in the post.

However, Keith Urban’s wife’s slim figure seemed to outshine her good deed, with many of her fans criticizing the actress in the comments section.

‘Somebody feed her a hamburger,’ remarked one internet troll, while another shouted, ‘she needs to eat’.

Some mocked Kidman, saying, ‘Make it a double cheese burger with bacon and additional mayo… cmon girl, skin and bones ain’t a nice look!’

‘I like her, but she’s just too skinny,’ said another. ‘You are an incredible actor, but I think it would be better not to glamorize extreme thinness and unattainable beauty standards,’ another said.

‘There are far too many individuals out there attempting to live up to these fake expectations and suffering as a result,’ they continued.

Some of Kidman’s fans, like supermodel Elle Macpherson, rallied to her rescue.
