Nigerian nabbed for allegedly stealing gadgets worth P100T


A 23-year-old Nigerian national was arrested in Cebu City for allegedly stealing gadgets worth over P100,000 on April 18, 2024.

The Nigerian was found to have taken a Macbook Air M1 worth P55,000, an Ipad Air 4 worth P32,000, a POCO X3 Pro worth P13,000, and a Xiaomi Pad 5 Tablet with stylus worth P17,200; as well as Automated Teller Machine cards among other valuable items.

The suspect was reportedly caught about to sell the gadgets at a store in a mall along Leon Kilat Street, Cebu City but the owner of the gadgets went after him along with policemen.

The Nigerian was put behind bars.
