Nikki Reed, who is known for her part in the “Twilight” series, is happy to say that her second child with Ian Somerhalder is on the way. A home birth “a few weeks ago” brought the couple a baby boy.

Reed, who is 35 years old, showed a glimpse of her home birth on Instagram Stories on Thursday and said it was “one of the most beautiful days of [her] life.” She thanked her nurse and said, “He was born at home in water and surrounded by love, in an instant my heart doubled in size.”

When the actress shared a picture of her baby bump on Instagram in January, she surprised her followers. Reed had been open about her journey, saying that it was the result of “years of dreaming, manifesting, and praying.”
