The 18th-raned Texas A&M men’s tennis team will open the ITA Kickoff Weekend against Southeastern Conference foe Auburn at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.
A&M (2-0) is coming off a 6-1 win over Georgia Southern on Thursday at the Byers Tennis Complex in Atlanta. Auburn (2-0) last competed on Jan. 14 with home wins against Samford and Alabama State.
The ITA Kickoff Weekend decides which teams advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships set for Feb. 16-19 in New York at Columbia University and the UTSA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
A&M will play either 19th-ranked Georgia or Louisiana on Monday.
