Iowa’s next game: at Maryland, 7 p.m. Saturday

What to know: Iowa’s Caitlin Clark (3,389 career points) needs four points to catch Missouri State’s Jackie Stiles as the No. 3 scorer in NCAA Division-I women’s basketball history.

“She’s one of the best ever to pick up a basketball,” Clark said.

Clark needs 13 to catch Ohio State’s Kelsey Mitchell for the Big Ten record and the No. 2 slot overall.

Iowa owns the longest active streak in the Associated Press top five at 14 consecutive weeks. It is up two spots to No. 3 this week, behind South Carolina and Kansas State.

The Hawkeyes bounced back from their first Big Ten loss (to Ohio State) by beating Nebraska, 92-73, Saturday.

Northwestern has lost four consecutive games, all by double figures. The Wildcats dropped a 100-59 decision at Indiana on Sunday.

This week’s swing of games at Northwestern and Maryland marks Iowa’s final stretch of consecutive road games.
