Sachiv Kumar had some impressive shoes to fill, but the Northville High School senior did just that, adding one more tennis honor for the Kumar family.

The Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association named Kumar the 2023 Mr. Tennis, after honoring his older sister, Shanoli Kumar, as Miss Tennis in 2018. Shanoli Kumar, who played at the University of Michigan, is a research and design engineer for Wilson Sporting Goods.
