Billed as a leather alternative that’s partially made from cacti, the collection of “everyday” styles was created by the brand’s in-house accessories design team with the goal of offering an interesting material update to some of their bestselling styles.

The launch includes four accessory styles — the Everywhere Belt Bag 1L; Dual Pouch Wristlet; Daily Multi-Pocket Canvas Tote Bag; and the Cactus Material Card Case. Each design comes in two colours: black and an army green.

The new pieces join a growing assortment of accessories from Lululemon that includes bags, shoes, hats, gloves and much more.

Made using a combination of cactus materials and recycled polyester, cactus joins an increasing offering for leather alternatives on the market as many brands search for animal-free alternatives. In addition to cactus-containing materials, new and improving innovations include cork, mushrooms, pineapple and more.

The price: $58 to $98.

The retailer: Lululemon.com.
