Nous invitons les artistes et artisans à présenter des demandes de financement pour de petits projets artistiques | Gouvernement des Territoires du Nord-Ouest

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is currently accepting applications for funding under the Small Arts Grants for the 2024-2025 year.

Funding of up to $5,000 is available for artists, artisans and small groups in early to mid-career to cover the costs of small artistic projects (e.g., traditional clothing, paintings, etc.). This could include purchasing art materials (beads, thread, furs, or others), renting a studio, paying for illustration and design work, or developing artistic skills. To learn more about the expenses covered under this grant, please visit this page.

The Small Arts Project Grant supports a wide range of artistic activities, including creation, production, presentation, training and development in the fields of dance, digital arts, fashion, literature, media arts, multidisciplinary arts, music and sound arts, theatre, visual arts and crafts.

Funding is allocated based on the population of the six regions represented by the NWT Arts Council (North Slave, South Slave, Dehcho, Beaufort-Delta, Sahtu and Tłı̨chǫ). The goal is to support early- to mid-career artists and artisans in small communities by supporting their artistic activities and projects.

The deadline for applications is February 28, 2024.
