WENATCHEE — Two artists said to have left a profoundly positive and lasting impression on the arts in Central Washington were awarded the Numerica Performing Arts Center’s 2023 Stanley Lifetime Achievement Award: Matthew Pippin in the professional division and Tom McNair in the volunteer division.
Pippin is active in regional performing arts, being raised in Wenatchee and attending American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s New York campus. While new to literary arts, his book “Nine Strangers” was published this year with a sequel coming out in May.
