MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Many people choose to get healthy as their New Year’s Resolution. Today, nutritionist Jen Avis joined Good Morning ArkLaMiss to discuss the importance of soluble fibers.
She says fibers help you lower your cholesterol and help you stay full longer. One way to lower your cholesterol is by increasing your fruit and vegetable intake.
Avis says soluble fibers improve regular elimination, bind with harmful chemicals and help your body excrete them, lower cholesterol, improve glucose levels, and improve satiety.
