Officials say two people were seriously injured in a car accident in Woodbridge on Saturday.

The driver, Tyler Santi-Angelo, lost control of his Jeep SUV on the parkway and ran off the road and collided with a tree.

Santi-Angelo and the one passenger were both trapped in the car, according to officials.

The passenger was transported to a hospital.

The accident is being investigated.
