CHEF KRISTEN GRISSOM RECOMMENDS LETTING YOUR TURKEY SIT IN A BRINE OVERNIGHT BEFORE YOU COOK IT. YOU CAN DO THAT IN THE REFRIGERATOR. MAKE SURE THE BRINE IS 41 DEGREES OR LOWER. AND SHE SAYS TO THROW OUT THE POP UP THERMOMETER THAT COMES WITH THE TURKEY AND USE A NEEDLE TYPE OF FOOD THERMOMETER FOR SO ONE 60IN THE THICKEST PART OF THE TURKEY PULL IT OUT, LET IT REST FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES. LET THOSE JUICES SETTLE BACK IN BEFORE YOU CARVE IT. AND YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE A NICE MOIST TURKEY. AND THIS IS IMPORTANT. CHEF KRISTIN SAYS TO SET A REMINDER NOW TO TAKE YOUR TURKEY OUT OF THE FREEZER LATER THIS WEEK. MOST TURKEYS ARE FROZEN WHEN WE BUY THEM. CHEF KRISTIN SAYS YOU SHOULD THAW YOUR TURKEY IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR 5 TO 7 DAYS. GABRIELLE KOMOROWSKI. ANDERSON’S THE LAST STOP FOR THE FESTIVAL, WHICH ALSO INCLUDES CITIES LIKE ROME, GEORGIA AND MOBILE, ALABAMA. BY BEING THE LAST STOP, WE WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN. WE’LL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OTHER MARKETS AND HOW IT’S GOING. SO WE DO EXPECT TO NOT ONLY BE THE THE LAST, BUT THE BEST BUT THE BEST. AND AND WE’LL HAVE A CHANCE.
