Olivia Colman Calls Harry Styles a Beautiful, Non-Aggressive Role Model

Olivia Colman stated that women choose good and compassionate masculine role models over the “Andrew Tates of the world.”

She underscored the appeal of a masculine figure representing gentleness during an appearance on Global’s News Agents podcast, stating, “Harry Styles, he’s a very attractive man to the women who fancy him, and he is not remotely an aggressive man.”

The Peep Show star also hailed her Wonka co-star Timothée Chalamet for playing a lovely young man in their new film.

She then discussed the difficulties of introducing domestic violence awareness classes in schools, noting that it is surprising that such lessons are more difficult to implement in the curriculum of private educational institutions when such issues exist across all socioeconomic backgrounds.

The need of recognizing coercive and controlling conduct was also discussed during the discussion, with Colman emphasizing the necessity for all schools to prioritize their students’ well-being first, and status second.

She recognized that the upcoming season, which is set in the 2000s, may hit close to home for some fans, based on her experience as Queen Elizabeth II in seasons three and four of the blockbuster series The Crown. This is why, in recent discussions, she has prioritized mental health.
