Olivia Rodrigo recently discussed the challenging process of writing her sophomore album Guts.
The Vampire singer recently attended a Variety event where she revealed that conveying stories through songs has been her favorite thing to do for as long as she can remember.
The 20-year-old singer, however, admitted that writing songs was not always ‘effortless’ for her.
She went on to say, “Especially making my most recent album, I had so many voices in my head and I felt so much pressure to please everyone with the music I was making.”
“I create something every day, even if I didn’t feel extremely inspired,” the musician said of her answer to the situation.
Olivia went on to say that this helped her come out of her “dread” and “dread and made me start to get really excited about the music I was making.”
Earlier this month, the singer received six nominations for the renowned 66th Grammy Awards, which will be presented on February 9, 2024.
The pop singer took to Instagram to express her thanks for being recognized by the Recording Academy for her outstanding achievements in the music industry.
